In this panel I would be happy to let other un-published authors of childrens books to mention their website.
Please contact me via the forum.
On this website you will find stories that I have called, "Not quite true stories"
Each story is short and the topic should be interesting to all children up to the age of about 9 years and are idea for that short story that will be read to the under 5 year olds at bedtime.
Children over the age of 6 years should, with a little help from their parents, manage as most of the words are small words that can be easily taught with the ( sound and say) method.
Many of these tales have a moral that can be discovered for the self reader or easily explained by the reader. Other tales are those that I call, "Not quite true tales", but, who knows what is possible if you believe strongly enough.
See panel on side of screen to go to each story.
You may print each story from your computer.
For younger children you can print a simple outline picture that can be coloured in. ( see information at beginning of the story )
You may wish to return to this page and I would be pleased if you wished to "Bookmark" it.
Coming soon,
The Animal's Sports Day.
At present the only picture for children to colour is for the story "Willie the Whale" others to follow shortly.
